2014-09-25: Intermittent Outages

Our infrastructure provider will be rolling out a security update to their fleet of servers over the course of the next week.  As a consequence, some services may experience intermittent outages between Sept 26th and Sept 30th.

This morning saw some site-wide outages to class sites and an interruption to the data pipeline used to generate the Analytics Dashboard.  All classes have now been restored to normal operation, and we are working to restore normal Dashboard functioning as soon as possible.

Over the upcoming days, Coursera will be performing routine maintenance on archived, inactive and upcoming classes. This will involve turning off access to individual course sites (including to new enrollments and access to the class site itself) for up to 20 minutes while automated maintenance is performed on these classes.

Classes currently ongoing will not be affected by this maintenance. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
