10-22-2012

Starting around 10:30 AM, we've  experiencing issues with our hosting provider (Amazon).  See http://status.aws.amazon.com/ for details.  We'll be back up soon!

Update (11:30AM PST): AWS issues seem to be more widespread than Amazon had anticipated and affecting a lot of our disks / storage on the cloud in multiple availability zones. We are contacting and working with AWS employees to resolve the issue. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused and hope to be back up soon.

Update(1:22PM PST): We're back up! Thanks for your patience.

Update(9:15PM PST): Our databases had intermittent issues again from 8.45PM -- 9.15PM PST. We're  back up again.

Our users are seeing intermittent service interruptions. We apologize, and are looking into the issues.

Update: The issues have been resolved and the site should be performing fine now. We experienced some intermittent database issues and have manually transitioned to more powerful machines; we're in the process of moving off the flaky sub-system by the end of this week. We apologize again for the inconvenience, and will closely monitor our systems for the next few hours to ensure site stability.
